Frequencies of your touch

By Jonathan Rudinger | December 27, 2013 |
The frequencies of your touch can be consciously influenced by visualizing colors, replaying music in your mind, or simply smiling.

PetMassage Acceptance and Integration

By Jonathan Rudinger | December 27, 2013 |

Massage therapy for people is now fully integrated into traditional Western medicine and wellness care.

Just as Massage Therapy and Physical Therapy have become integral parts of our rehabilitation and lifestyle, PetmassageTM

will soon play a similar role in veterinary medicine and daily, home-based animal care.

PetMassage creative artistry

By Jonathan Rudinger | December 27, 2013 |

When PetMassagingTM your dog, imagine her as a work of art still in process of becoming complete. An unfinished process of creation. As you open up to your inner puppy (who is undoubtedly wearing a beret and paint splattered smock), let your creative juices and imagination flow. Mold her, smooth her, ruffle her, coax and cajole her; soften her, shift her relationship within her environment, explain her to herself; witness for her, show her, her inner spirit, connect her to the earth, and, open pathways for her to flourish. During your PetMassageTM the two of you reveal your most intimate secrets. Whispers of fascia and breath. Whatever happens to either one of you affects the other. Whatever happens to one of you affects both of you. She is your work of creation. And, in the process, you become hers. You are both creating your lives as you go. During your PetMassageTM you are assisting each other to enhance the lives you’ve created. Voila!Absolument remarquable.

Surface of the Coi Pond

By Jonathan Rudinger | December 27, 2013 |
Smooth, with barely a ripple, the surface of the pond. Beneath, there’s a lot going on. The carp are busy: swimming, darting, sleeping, interacting, hiding, seeking, eating each other, and each other’s waste. Some are bold and aggressive; some are modest and coi. What does this have to do with PetMassageTM? This is what is happening beneath the thin facades of our dogs consciousness. This is the bus-i-ness we affect with our touch. Your gentle “course corrections” can subtly guide them to “don’t eat that.”

PetMassage knowing and sharing

By Jonathan Rudinger | December 27, 2013 |

The area around your gut is the abdomen, the viscera. So a “visceral reaction” is a “gut reaction” or “instinctual reaction.” In a PetMassageTM you and your dog are both expressing bouquets of pheromones to broadcast your internal experiences. Even if you are not aware of them, your dog smells the most buried secrets you entertain. At some level, you entertain awareness of your dog’s virtual bones, too. PetMassageTM is your way to experience the visceral reactions your dog is knowing and sharing.

Dewclaw

By Jonathan Rudinger | December 23, 2013 |

The number of bones in the dogs paw is the same as in the human hand. For example, the tiny dew claw has two bones, just like your thumb. The dog in your hands was born with front and sometimes rear dewclaws. Her/his genetic memories include them as part of a complete body. If they have been removed, remember to stimulate the tiny scar where it had been attached, on the medial wrist (carpus), just as you would to any phantom appendage. This will ensure that your PetMassage is responsive to the whole body.

Terms of engagement

By Jonathan Rudinger | December 23, 2013 |

Use particular terms and words in your hard copy marketing materials and website to be compliant with your state guidelines promoting your canine massage business. Avoid highly charged terms such as, therapy, healing, physical therapy, rehabilitation, and massage therapy.

All physical and emotional imbalances – which are the root causes of symptoms, diseases and discomforts, are the result of the body stressing while reacting to stressors. Ultimately, the function of PetMassage is to de-stress. To relax. It is absolutely appropriate to value and promote tissue and energy relaxation as our true goals. So instead, use softer terms that suggest these intentions, such as, balance, relaxation, harmony, flexibility, and ease in movement.
